About the job
About the role
Sayvant is a clinical documentation quality platform for acute care physicians that’s deployed at over 100 hospitals. We’re looking for a Product Manager who can turn complex clinical workflows and AI capabilities into products physicians trust and use. You’ll work closely with clinicians, Partner Success, Engineering, and Go To Market to identify the right problems, set priorities, and deliver measurable improvements in documentation quality and adoption.
This is a mid-level to senior IC product role for someone who understands clinical workflow and is comfortable discussing data flows, APIs, model behavior, and technical tradeoffs with engineers. You’ll own product decisions and outcomes, while engineering owns implementation.
What you’ll do
Spend time with acute care clinicians and customer teams to understand documentation workflows, pain points, and the constraints of hospital environments.
Define product strategy and a focused roadmap; make clear prioritization decisions based on clinical value, user evidence, business goals, and delivery effort.
Write crisp requirements and acceptance criteria for clinician-facing workflows, AI behavior, integrations, and operational needs.
Partner withEngineering on user experience, data models, APIs, EHR and third-party integrations, performance, reliability, and security tradeoffs.
Help define how AI features are evaluated before and after release, including clinical accuracy, unsupported claims, consistency, latency, and when a clinician must review or correct an output.
Use interviews, product data, experiments, and customer feedback to measure adoption and quality, diagnose problems, and decide what to improve next.
Coordinate launches with Partner Success and Go To Market, giving customer-facing teams clear context on what changed and how to gather useful feedback.
What we’re looking for
7+ years building software products, including experience owning product priorities and shipping features as a Product Manager or in a comparable role.
Direct experience with healthcare technology (ideally clinical workflow), EHRs, and the realities of deploying products in healthcare organizations.
Experience with AI-enabled products, especially LLM features, and practical familiarity with evaluation, failure modes, human review, and monitoring.
Technical fluency sufficient to work through API contracts, data flows, integration constraints, and system tradeoffs with engineers.
Strong product discovery and analytical skills: you can turn ambiguous feedback into prototypes, choose useful metrics, and make decisions with incomplete information.
Clear writing and communication with clinicians, engineers, and commercial teams; sound judgment about clinical trust and product quality.
Nice to have: A background in software engineering, data analysis, or applied machine learning.
