Machine Learning Engineer & Software Developer — Part-Time/Full Time

Hi Twin is looking for a part-time Machine Learning Engineer / Full-Stack Developer with at least 2+ years of professional experience to join our technical team.

You will work closely with our CTO, contributing to the development of the technological infrastructure behind our Digital Twin platform.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing the platform architecture on which our Digital Twin models operate
• Building and maintaining backend components
• Developing APIs, data flows and integrations between the AI models and the platform
• Supporting Matteo in improving and evolving the Machine Learning and AI models behind our Digital Twins
• Contributing to technical decisions regarding scalability, performance and product development

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working across both software engineering and machine learning, and who enjoys building products in an early-stage startup environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in software development, ML engineering or related roles
• Strong backend development skills (Python)
• Good understanding of Machine Learning / AI systems
• Ability to work independently and collaborate closely with a small technical team
• Startup mindset and willingness to work on different parts of the product
