About the job
We’re looking for a process and materials engineer to fabricate and improve our flexible eSkin sensors. This role focuses on hands-on fabrication and process iteration, with opportunities to contribute to early-stage materials and device R&D. You’ll work with polymers, functional inks and soft electronic devices to improve sensor performance, consistency and fabrication yield.
What you’ll do
Fabricate eSkin sensors using solution processing, printing, coating and polymer processing techniques.
Refine fabrication processes to improve device performance, reproducibility and yield.
Support materials and device R&D through material screening, prototype fabrication and testing.
Document fabrication procedures and experimental results to guide further development.
What we’re looking for
Master’s in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Hands-on fabrication experience with flexible or soft electronics.
Familiarity with solution processing, printing and polymer processing, with a foundation in polymer physics and chemistry.
Strong practical skills and the ability to troubleshoot fabrication problems and iterate quickly.
A collaborative mindset and flexibility to adapt to evolving project needs.
Nice to have: experience with tactile or capacitive sensors, elastomers, conductive inks, thin-film fabrication, or electrical and mechanical characterization of soft electronic devices.
