Job Description

As a DevOps, you are responsible for supporting the continuous, secure and reliable delivery of our software solutions and our data and AI platforms. You ensure the automation, stability and evolution of application environments and act as a facilitator between development, quality assurance and operations, to optimize team performance, delivery quality and platform resilience. You apply security and continuous improvement best practices and contribute to technology decisions that affect our solutions.

Success in this role is measured by the frequency and reliability of deliveries, the stability and security of environments, and how quickly incidents are detected and resolved.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation and evolution of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Automate deployments and unit and integration tests
  • Manage branching strategies, pull requests and application artifacts
  • Select, configure and administer CI/CD tools, and fix and prevent issues related to pipelines, configurations and integrations
  • Industrialize service deployments (standardized pipelines, self-service, traceable approvals) to reduce manual steps
  • Consistently manage development, testing and production environments using Infrastructure as Code and containerization
  • Operate and continuously deliver data and AI platforms (ingestion and transformation pipelines, Power BI refreshes, machine learning pipelines, GPU infrastructure)
  • Govern cloud infrastructure: private networking, cost optimization, policy compliance and resource lifecycle management
  • Integrate security practices into the development lifecycle, validate pull requests against security requirements and work with teams to fix vulnerabilities
  • Manage cloud identities, access and secrets according to the principle of least privilege
  • Contribute to ISO 27001 compliance evidence (change management, access reviews, deployment traceability)
  • Set up and maintain service monitoring (metrics, logs, dashboards) and effective alerting mechanisms
  • Respond to incidents, conduct post-incident analyses and implement corrective and preventive measures
  • Document operating procedures (runbooks) and plan and test platform backup, retention and disaster recovery
  • Align with ISAAC’s objectives and foster a climate of inclusion, feedback and recognition by embodying its values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps environments, including CI/CD pipeline automation, application environment management, infrastructure as code, cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred), containerization and orchestration, operation of data and AI platforms, monitoring systems, cloud programming and security integration.
  • Concepts matter more than tools: a solid command of the principles (IaC, CI/CD, observability, least privilege, cost management) and comfort with common technologies are enough. Technologies marked “asset” are not required, rather nice to have.
  • Python, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash, Windows/Linux.
  • Assets:
  • Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Managed DevOps Pool) and GitHub; Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI;
  • Microsoft Azure (Entra ID, Key Vault, private networking, virtual machines, App Service, Container Apps); AWS and Google Cloud
  • Docker; Kubernetes
  • Terraform; Ansible
  • Grafana, Azure Monitor / Log Analytics (KQL), Datadog; Prometheus and ELK Stack
  • Data and AI platforms: Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure Machine Learning, Power BI Service.
