What You'll Do

As an Electrical Controls Engineer, you will take ownership of controls systems from concept through customer installation.

You'll

• Design electrical control systems for automated packaging machinery
• Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs
• Develop machine software using Ladder Logic and Structured Text
• Configure servo systems, motion control, VFDs, industrial networks, and safety devices
• Integrate machine vision and advanced automation technologies
• Support machine startup, commissioning, and customer installations
• Work closely with Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, and customers to deliver industry-leading equipment solutions

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Automation Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of Controls Engineering experience
• Allen-Bradley PLC programming experience utilizing Studio 5000
• Experience with Ladder Logic and Structured Text
• Electrical schematic and control panel design experience
• Knowledge of servo systems, motion control, VFDs, sensors, and industrial automation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel approximately 15-20%
