Finance & Investment Analyst Intern

Alto Cirra is hiring a Finance & Investment Analyst Intern for Summer 2027. This is a full-time, hybrid internship based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Exact dates are by agreement. Pay is $20–$25 per hour.

Role overview
Support internal budgeting, scenario analysis, operating-cost models, grant and investor research, and diligence-material preparation.

What you’ll do

• Assist with spreadsheets, budgets, and operating-cost or scenario models.
• Research grant and investor information and organize relevant findings.
• Prepare accurate, clearly labeled materials for internal review and diligence preparation.

Required skills and criteria

• Strong numerical care and ability to organize information in spreadsheets.
• Clear documentation of assumptions, sources, and calculations.
• Discretion and care when handling internal financial or planning materials.

Recommended skills

• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets, financial modeling, accounting, or research.
• Interest in startups, investment analysis, grants, or operational finance.

What we’re looking for
We are looking for a detail-oriented analyst who checks the math, explains assumptions, and makes complex information easier to review.

Work arrangement
Hands-on work and team coordination take place in person in Salt Lake City. Other work may be completed remotely from Salt Lake City as agreed with the team.
