About the Role

We are seeking a ServiceNow Discovery Developer to support enterprise CMDB and Discovery initiatives. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing ServiceNow Discovery solutions, ensuring accurate asset identification and onboarding of infrastructure, servers, applications, and network devices into the CMDB.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB management, Discovery Patterns, Service Graph Connectors, and ITSM processes, along with experience working closely with both development and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow Discovery solutions within enterprise environments.
• Create and maintain Discovery Patterns to identify and onboard servers, applications, infrastructure, and network devices into the CMDB.
• Configure and support Service Graph Connectors to integrate multiple data sources into the CMDB.
• Ensure CMDB health, data quality, governance, and ongoing accuracy.
• Develop customized ServiceNow solutions beyond standard out-of-the-box functionality.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, cloud, and operational teams to improve asset visibility and configuration management processes.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms to accelerate development and troubleshooting efforts.
• Participate in platform upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and CMDB optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, specifically ServiceNow Discovery.
• Experience customizing Discovery and developing Discovery Patterns.
• Strong understanding of CMDB administration, ITSM processes, hardware/software asset discovery, and Discovery technologies.
• Experience with Service Graph Connectors and integrating multiple enterprise data sources.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow cloud capabilities and cloud integrations.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and their practical application in software development and automation.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and operational stakeholders.
