Treasury Analyst

Freepoint Commodities LLC is a global commodities trading firm, headquartered in Stamford CT.The Treasury department is seeking an Analyst to support daily activities such as cash management, payment processing, and maintaining secure banking operations across multiple institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Management

• Prepare and review daily cash balances
• Reconcile bank account balances and transactions
• Assist in the preparation of daily cash flow projections and bank loan calculations
• Support short-term borrowing activities

Banking and Payments

• Prepare, review, and process domestic and international payments.
• Prepare and review fee reporting (commitment fees, LC fees, etc.)
• Prepare and send daily loan requests to senior group members
• Reconcile daily exchange margin reports
• Review and upload daily payments from EIPP PAR to Banking Systems
• Perform verbal callbacks and document results.
• Manage ad-hoc requests regarding payment confirmations and bank statements.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
• 0–2 years’ experience in treasury, finance, or banking; experience in commodities trading or energy preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork skills
