About the job

Own the moments that matter—from supplier launch to customer delight

Picture this: a new supplier part shows unexpected variation during incoming inspection. You quickly deploy containment, facilitate a root cause session, and update the control plan and PFMEA. By the time the next lot arrives, the fix is verified—and production stays on track. If that scenario energizes you, you’ll excel as our Senior Supplier and Process Quality Engineer.

Where you’ll work: You’ll be based full-time on site at our Piqua, OH corporate office, collaborating side-by-side with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain and visiting customers and suppliers when needed.

What you’ll own

  • End-to-end stewardship of the Quality Management System with an eye toward simplification and scalability.
  • Leadership of foundational tools: Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, and MSA.
  • CAPA leadership—from problem definition and root cause through verification of effectiveness.
  • ISO certification readiness, audit support, and corrective action follow-through.
  • PPAP and FAI coordination to validate parts, processes, and documentation.
  • Creation of inspection strategies, test procedures, and quality standards.
  • Data-driven investigations that deliver durable corrective actions.
  • Supplier quality development to improve delivery, conformance, and responsiveness.
  • Analysis of performance metrics to target and execute continuous improvement.
  • Deep collaboration with Engineering and Operations to enhance process capability.
  • Travel to customer and supplier sites as required.
  • Participation in broader continuous improvement projects and related tasks.

How we’ll gauge impact

  • A compliant, effective QMS that supports certifications and customer needs.
  • Structured problem solving that accelerates resolution and prevents recurrence.
  • Lower defect rates, reduced rework, and decreased variation.
  • Audit success with sustained compliance.
  • Upward-trending quality KPIs tied to operational excellence.
  • Robust relationships across manufacturing, engineering, and supplier networks.

What you’ll bringRequired

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 2–3+ years in a manufacturing/quality environment.
  • Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving acumen.
  • Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and specifications (GD&T).
  • Track record of using data/metrics to drive improvement.
  • Clear, effective written and verbal communication.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.

Preferred

  • Experience in machining, assembly, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949.
  • Applied experience with PPAP, FAI, CAPA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and MSA.
  • Lean/Continuous Improvement background.
  • Supplier Quality experience.
  • Exposure to Power BI, Minitab, or equivalent analytics/reporting tools.

Growth, rewards, and support

  • Competitive compensation with annual incentive opportunity
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Paid vacation, personal days, and company holidays
  • Career growth pathways and learning & development resources
