The Oak Age is a Chennai-based longevity brand building supplements for Indians who want to age well, not just live long.

Our team is young, curious, and obsessive about details most people skip. We are looking for people who treat their work as a place to think, build, and solve. We mean it. We question defaults more than we follow them.

We are a D2C and Ecommerce brand, so everything we do revolves around our customers and their experience.

About the role
We sell health and longevity supplements, and we put out a lot of writing: blogs, newsletters, product content, and more. We want someone to help us write it, and get genuinely good at making it rank. You do not need to be an SEO expert already. You need to learn it, and to actually enjoy the craft of writing clearly about health in a way people trust.

What you’ll do

Write blogs, newsletters, Emails and other content for The Oak Age
Work on the SEO side: keywords, structure, and what gets found and why
Learn SEO properly, with mentorship from the founder
Keep everything accurate and on-brand, and improve it over time

Who this is for
Excellent in English, writes cleanly and correctly, with a natural feel for the language
Able to write simply and clearly, with no fluff
Careful about getting facts right, especially on health topics
Curious about SEO and how content gets discovered, and keen to learn it
A reader, so you know what makes writing worth finishing

Logistics
Full-time, on-site in Chennai (9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday), so you’ll need to be based here or able to commute. Starts as a 3 month internship with a pay increase after 3 months based on performance, and a move into a full-time role for the right person.
