GTM & Operations Intern — Bitewise SF Launch
Help build the creator, restaurant, and operating systems behind an AI-native local dining platform — from zero to one.
Location: San Francisco Bay Area | On-site / Hybrid | 3+ months | $25–35/hr + milestone bonus
ABOUT BITEWISE
Bitewise is building an AI-native local dining discovery and transactions platform. We connect short-form video, authentic creator and consumer experiences, AI agents, and dynamic deals so people can move seamlessly from discovering a restaurant to deciding, saving, and dining.
We are tackling two persistent problems: consumers face too much fragmented content when choosing where to eat, while restaurants have underused capacity during off-peak hours. Bitewise brings both sides together in one end-to-end experience.
After early market validation in Barcelona and Paris, we are launching in San Francisco. Our team of roughly 10 spans product, AI, frontend, backend, and operations.
This is not a traditional "support" internship. You will work directly with the founder and help launch a new city — organizing supply, winning restaurant partners, testing product workflows, and turning manual work into scalable systems.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN (hands-on from day one)
Run creator shoots as a field production operation
Source and book local creators; assign each shoot a restaurant, dishes, and time. Confirm details, ensure attendance, and solve last-minute field issues. Collect footage, check quality, and coordinate reshoots. Build trackers and checklists that turn one-off shoots into a repeatable system.Win restaurant pilots through hands-on sales
Shadow the founder on early walk-in pitches, then independently walk into restaurants and pitch owners. Explain how Bitewise brings new diners, creates authentic content, and enables offer-based transactions. Own follow-ups, overcome objections, onboard partners, and close pilot commitments.
First 30–60 days: help coordinate shoots across dozens of restaurants and deliver hundreds of usable short-form videos.
Shape the product from the front line
Act as an early product tester across creator, restaurant, and user workflows. Spot where tasks break down, instructions confuse users, or features add unnecessary friction. Bring structured feedback to the product team, help redesign the workflow, and test faster, simpler solutions.Test AI and automation in real operations
Experiment with restaurant lead sourcing, outreach and follow-up, shoot scheduling, and creator task distribution. Evaluate AI voice agents, messaging agents, content review, and task tracking. After the manual workflow works, partner with product and AI teammates to automate the repeatable parts. Separate useful workflows from impressive demos, then help operationalize what works.
WHO WILL THRIVE HERE
We value initiative, follow-through, and fast learning more than narrow specialization.
- You take ownership and can move work forward without waiting for step-by-step instructions.
- You are comfortable speaking with creators, restaurant owners, and new people.
- You solve messy operational problems with resourcefulness and good judgment.
- You are curious about startups, AI, local commerce, and how products reach the market.
- You enjoy trying new tools and improving a process after seeing how it works in practice.
Helpful, not required: experience with AI or automation tools, field sales, creator operations, hospitality, marketplaces, or early-stage startups.
