Summary

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Automation Test Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance automated testing and validation solutions for software, hardware, mobile, or connected device platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, experience with automation frameworks, and a passion for improving product quality through scalable automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test infrastructure.
• Create and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, and system-level validation.
• Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve engineering productivity.
• Analyze requirements, test specifications, and product designs to identify automation opportunities.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Debug test failures and work closely with development teams to identify root causes.
• Generate automation reports, test metrics, and quality dashboards.
• Continuously improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and framework reliability.
• Support release validation and ensure product readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Software Engineering, QA, Hardware Engineering, and Product Management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in automation development or test automation.
• Strong programming experience in one or more of the following:
• Python
• Java
• C++
• JavaScript
• Experience with automation frameworks such as:
• Selenium
• Playwright
• Appium
• Robot Framework
• PyTest
• Experience with Linux-based development environments.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience with source control tools such as Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Android, iOS, embedded systems, or device automation.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and API automation testing.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and virtualization technologies.
• Performance testing experience using JMeter, Locust, or LoadRunner.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay Range Minimum: $59000/annum
• Pay Range Maximum: $99000/annum

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
