Build the rooms people use to show the world their work.

XRfolio turns a portfolio into a 3D space that visitors explore in their browser, with no headset and no download. Anyone can build one for free and publish it at their own name.xrfolio.page address.

We want more ready-made spaces for people to start from, made by artists with real taste, and we're hiring two freelance artists to design the next set.

What You'll Make

• Spaces people will want to call their own: a sunlit studio, a quiet gallery, a rooftop at dusk, a spaceship cabin, a forest clearing, a record store, a reading nook. Or something we haven't thought of. There are probably creative ways to use this platform we haven't even considered. Isometric, realistic, stylized, or low-poly: your call.
• Each space is a starting point for someone's portfolio. It needs a clear mood and at least three good places for the owner's work: walls, easels, screens, shelves, or pedestals.
• Paid spaces are templates: the room, its style, and empty spots for someone else's work. There's no project content to make, just the space.
• You build in the XRfolio builder, in your browser. Use our object library, your own models (GLB, OBJ, or FBX), or free models you're allowed to use.
• First batch: 4 to 6 spaces, shared between two artists. Pitch your own ideas. The best ideas get built.
• Most spaces take less than an hour once you're familiar with the builder. More elaborate spaces may take longer. One round of revisions is included.

What We're Looking For

• A point of view. We'd rather see one bold idea than a tidy room we've seen before.
• An eye for composition, color, and light in small spaces.
• Experience with 3D scenes, game environments, isometric art, set design, or interior design.
• Care with the details people notice: scale, clutter, and where the eye lands first.
• Respect for performance: each space stays under about 10 MB so it loads fast on any connection.
• Reliability: you deliver what you said, when you said.
• Nice to have: Blender modeling, stylized or low-poly work, or an interest in how people present themselves online.

What You Get

• $25–$65 per accepted room template. Artists set their asking price based on what they feel their room is worth. If we agree, we buy it at that price. Otherwise, we may negotiate a price that works for both sides. If we can't agree, the room stays yours.
• Quick, focused projects. Most templates take less than an hour to build once you're familiar with the XRfolio builder.
• Fast payment. We pay through PayPal or Wise within 7 days of accepting your completed space.
• Your name on your work. Every space we buy is credited to you, with a link to your portfolio.
• Creative freedom. You work directly with the founder.
• First call on future spaces. We plan to keep adding them.
• Independent contractor. Set your own hours and work from anywhere we can pay you. You must be 18 or older.

We own the spaces we pay for (third-party models stay under their own licenses), and you can show them in your own portfolio.

How to Apply (About an Hour)

1. Open the builder at https://xrfolio.page/build. You do not need a paid account.
2. Build one sample space for a creative person's portfolio, with at least three spots for their work. Any style. Fill it with your own work if you like, and it becomes your portfolio to publish.

Your sample space stays yours to keep. We won't use it unless we hire you and pay for it.
