ServiceNow Developer

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and implement scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in platform development, integrations, workflow automation, CMDB, Discovery, and Custom Application Development using ServiceNow App Engine.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain solutions across the ServiceNow platform.
• Build and customize workflows, Flow Designer automations, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, script includes, and service catalog components.
• Develop and support integrations with internal and external systems using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and MID Servers.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Participate in platform enhancements, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Follow ServiceNow development best practices, governance standards, and documentation requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow scripting.
• Experience with ITSM modules and ServiceNow platform customization.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and API development.
• Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture and platform capabilities.

Preferred Experience

ServiceNow Discovery & CMDB

• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow Discovery.
• Experience configuring and managing MID Servers, credentials, probes, sensors, and discovery schedules.
• Strong understanding of CMDB data management, identification and reconciliation rules, and data governance.
• Experience troubleshooting Discovery patterns and improving Configuration Item (CI) accuracy.
• Knowledge of Service Mapping and infrastructure dependency mapping is a plus.

Custom Application Development (ServiceNow App Engine)

• Experience designing and building custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine.
• Ability to create custom data models, tables, forms, portals, and workflows.
• Experience developing scoped applications and reusable platform components.
• Strong understanding of low-code/no-code and pro-code development approaches within ServiceNow.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable enterprise applications.

Preferred Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)

Nice to Have

• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB Health, Service Mapping, or Asset Management.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Candidates with strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB optimization, and Custom Application Development (App Engine) will be given priority consideration.
