Responsibilities

  • As a Lead Calibrator, your key responsibilities will include:Coordinate the development, system level validation, and release of powercube releases (PCR’s) for PCAL PRC and Propulsion Systems feature teams.
  • Execute system level PRS validation in coordination with Vehicle Integration teams to ensure proper functional alignment between PRS and non-PRS modules.
  • Work cross-functionally with other calibration subsystems and vehicle integration/validation teams to review issues and implement robust solutions, adhering to best practices and established calibration methodologies.
  • Coordinate the implementation of specific controls features into development and production releases to align with program timing in conjunction with Controls Managers
  • Develop and validate calibration solutions for specific features that fall within the CCSI and/or PCAL PRC perimeter of responsibility in collaboration with core calibration feature teams and PCAL PRC feature COE’s.
  • Skillfully arbitrate calibration tradeoffs and resource constraints (physical and virtual) between calibration subsystems to meet program objectives and timing, including safety, regulatory compliance, fuel economy/range, emissions, drivability, and propulsion system stability while maintaining collaborative team-first mindset within the broader team.
  • Coordinate technical and logistical CCSI calibration support of PCAL PRC feature teams to enable successful core calibration development on compressed timelines including mule commissioning, development resource “support”, and running-change regulatory documentation.
