Description
Your Role
The Store Designer develops and supports design solutions for domestic and international stores. This role reviews site information; prepares floor plans, storefront elevations, and presentation materials; and partners cross-functionally to deliver consistent, brand-right environments that support the customer experience.
Your Impact
Prepare floor plans, storefront elevations, and other materials that support design solutions while adhering to established design guidelines and brand strategy.
Apply knowledge of the business, customer, and current design trends to assigned projects.
Direct and partner with architects and consultants to develop project-specific design solutions, design development drawings, and construction documents.
Review drawing sets for accuracy and adherence to design standards.
Coordinate with internal and external partners to support project completion on schedule and within budget.
Respond quickly to changing business needs, evolving design prototypes, and new material developments.
Proactively recommend alternative materials, design solutions, and display strategies across a variety of store formats and real estate environments, including airports.
Prepare presentation materials and present design recommendations to project partners and senior leaders.
Partner with Construction, Purchasing, Visual Merchandising, and Store Operations teams to deliver cohesive and executable store environments.
Participate in brand, visual, and operational reviews to understand project requirements and evolving business needs.
Advocate for design integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
Review and approve shop drawings, as required by the project.
Identify risks that may affect project schedule, cost, or design integrity and recommend solutions.

Minimum Salary: $67,700.00
Maximum Salary: $88,830.00
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, or Interior Design.
3 to 5 years of design experience, preferably supporting retail projects; international experience is a plus.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Bluebeam, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong 3D modeling, sketching, rendering, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate design ideas.
Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to create, read, and review construction documents.
Knowledge of emerging materials, design techniques, and relevant industry trends.
Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting budget and schedule requirements.
Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a high-performing, cross-functional team.
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
