Short Form Video Editor

We're looking for a Short Form Video Editor to turn raw footage and scripts into fast-paced, retention-optimized videos. You'll handle cuts, captions, pacing, sound, and effects that keep viewers watching to the end, editing content designed to stop the scroll and hold attention. You'll edit in a style that speaks to a young, finance-curious audience.

You'll edit content across one stage of our growth strategy: attention-grabbing videos that reach new audiences, trust-building videos that convert viewers into followers, or conversion-focused videos that drive app downloads. You'll collaborate closely with our script writers so every video brings the concept to life exactly as intended.

What You'll Do

Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube optimized for retention
Handle cuts, captions, pacing, sound design, and effects
Match the energy and style of what's currently performing on each platform
Use performance data to sharpen each edit, learning from what works and what doesn't
Work alongside script writers to bring concepts to life

What We're Looking For

Someone who consumes a lot of short-form content and understands what makes it work
Proficiency in CapCut or Premiere Pro
Strong instinct for pacing, timing, and retention
Fast, self-directed, and open to feedback
Interest in startups, finance, or entrepreneurship is a plus

What You'll Gain
