Senior Full-Stack Engineer

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, taking ownership of their work, and helping deliver reliable, high-quality software.

About the Role

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer at Nexorlio, you'll design, develop, and maintain production applications across both frontend and backend systems.

You'll work with technologies including React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, and modern cloud platforms. Beyond writing code, you'll contribute to architecture decisions, improve engineering practices, and help guide projects from initial planning through production.

We're looking for someone who can work independently, collaborate effectively with distributed teams, and make practical technical decisions that balance performance, scalability, maintainability, and business needs.

This is a full-time, fully remote position for candidates based in the United States, with availability during U.S. business hours.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services.
• Develop modern frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and related technologies.
• Build backend APIs and services using Node.js, Python, or comparable technologies.
• Design and optimize relational databases, including PostgreSQL.
• Develop REST APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Participate in technical planning, system architecture, and technology decisions.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested production code.
• Review pull requests and provide constructive feedback to other engineers.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Work with cloud platforms, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and production deployment environments.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, clients, and company leadership.
• Help establish engineering standards and development best practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers when needed.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant full-stack development experience.
• Strong professional experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development.
• Solid backend development experience with Node.js, Python, or comparable technologies.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and backend services.
• Professional experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, or other relational databases.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable production applications.
• Good understanding of application architecture, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or comparable cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Git-based development workflows.
• Ability to independently investigate and solve complex technical problems.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams and work independently in a remote environment.
• Current U.S. residence and authorization to work in the United States.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable applications and distributed systems.
• Experience with serverless architecture and cloud-native development.
• Familiarity with AI-powered applications, LLM integrations, AI agents, or RAG workflows.
• Experience working on SaaS platforms, enterprise applications, or complex client projects.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical discussions.
• Experience working in a startup or fast-growing technology company.
