Sales Application Engineer

Are you a technical problem-solver who enjoys working directly with customers and helping turn ideas into real-world solutions? Dynatect is seeking a Sales Application Engineer to bridge the gap between customers, sales partners, and engineering teams by providing expert product recommendations, developing competitive quotes, and delivering exceptional customer support.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and sales representatives.
• Evaluate applications and recommend custom or standard product solutions.
• Develop accurate quotes and proposals while driving opportunities from inquiry to order.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on unique and complex customer applications.
• Support strategic account growth by identifying opportunities and market trends.
• Maintain customer, quote, and opportunity data within CRM and ERP systems.
• Assist with issue resolution and corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conduct product training and represent Dynatect at trade shows and industry events.
• Track sales performance metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 3-5 years of technical sales, applications engineering, or customer-facing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, CRM, and ERP systems.

Preferred:

• Experience quoting engineered products or custom manufacturing solutions.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or process improvement principles.
