Required Skills
- Playwright + TypeScript automation. Writes and maintains UI and API tests using Page Objects.
- API testing. Tests REST APIs (our Lambdas) with Postman or Playwright's request client. Checks status codes, validations and error handling, and can tell whether a bug is in the frontend or the backend.
- Database testing. Understand and write SQL queries (Postgres, Snowflake) to check that the app saves and reads data correctly.
- Integration and E2E testing. Tests data flowing between systems end to end: e.g. Deposco, Oracle, Snowflake and SharePoint files.
- CI/CD. Comfortable with GitHub (branches, pull requests, code reviews) and GitHub Actions for running tests in pipelines.
- AWS basics and debugging. Can read CloudWatch logs and understands Lambda, IAM and Terraform enough to check infrastructure tickets and find the cause of failures.
- Performance testing. Runs load tests on APIs and key pages with a tool like JMeter. Measures response times and error rates, and uses monitoring like Datadog to find what's slow.
