Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: This role supports the focused AI team needed to accelerate prioritized use cases using the enterprise Agentic AI Factory reference architecture: governed agents, reusable skills, trusted data/knowledge layers, secure integration, human oversight, AgentOps, evaluation, and FinOps/value management. In this role, you will: The Agent Platform Engineer will play a pivotal role in enabling Clorox's enterprise AI strategy by building the reusable foundation that allows AI solutions to be rapidly deployed, governed, and scaled across the business. Rather than creating isolated AI applications, this role will establish the agent platform, reusable skills, engineering standards, and deployment patterns that accelerate adoption of AI across functions such as Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and R&D. The work delivered by this individual will directly influence: Faster delivery of strategic AI initiatives and productivity gains Reduced time and cost to develop future AI solutions through reusable capabilities Scalable and secure deployment of AI across the enterprise Improved decision-making through trusted access to data and knowledge Greater business value realisation through governance, AgentOps, telemetry, and FinOps practices Competitive advantage through accelerated AI innovation and automation Key Candidate Selling Points Build the Future of Enterprise AI Help shape how AI is implemented across a Fortune 500 consumer goods company, creating capabilities that thousands of employees could eventually leverage. High Visibility and Strategic Importance This is a foundational role within Clorox's AI transformation journey. The work will influence how AI is governed, scaled, and adopted across the enterprise. Work with Leading AI Technologies Develop solutions using Microsoft's newest AI platform technologies, including: Copilot Studio Azure AI Foundry Agentic AI architectures RAG and enterprise knowledge systems AI orchestration and automation frameworks Create Platforms, Not One-Off Solutions Instead of building individual applications, you'll create reusable capabilities, frameworks, and engineering patterns that enable dozens of future AI use cases across the business. End-to-End Ownership Own the full lifecycle from design and development through deployment, monitoring, optimisation, and operational excellence. Cross-Functional Influence Partner with senior leaders, architects, security teams, product owners, data engineers, and business stakeholders to solve high-value business challenges. Solve Real Business Problems Build AI capabilities that improve decision-making, automate complex workflows, increase productivity, and create measurable business value. What we look for: Experience 7-10 years software engineering, platform engineering, data/AI engineering, automation, or cloud application development; 5-7 years with MS/PhD acceptable. 3+ years building cloud-native applications, APIs, automation, data/AI solutions, or platform services. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Python/TypeScript/C#, GitHub/Azure DevOps, CI/CD, API integration, telemetry, and secure development practices. Experience in backend engineering tasks such as building token-based authorization frameworks and integrating enterprise-grade IAM solution. Skills Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Power Platform, agent orchestration, prompt/tool design, RAG, Azure AI Search, function apps, app services, containers, and deployment automation. Software engineering depth in Python, C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON, YAML, IaC, GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps, testing and observability. Experience implementing reusable agent skills, action connectors, approval flows, eval tests, troubleshooting runtime and tool-call failures. Product mindset, ownership, documentation, agile delivery and ability to translate business needs into working agent capabilities. Education Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data/AI, Cybersecurity, Finance, Business Analytics or relevant stream. Equivalent experience acceptable depending on role and grade evaluation.
