Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Catapult Sports is the global leader in athlete performance technology, trusted by 3,000+ elite teams across the NFL, NBA, Premier League, and Olympic programs. We're building the AI and data foundation that will define how elite sport uses intelligence — and we're looking for a Senior ML/Data Engineer to own the core of it.

What you'll build:

You'll design and own the data infrastructure that makes our AI systems reliable in production — feature stores, knowledge graph schemas, sensor data pipelines, and the calibration layer that ensures model confidence can be trusted by coaches and performance staff.

What we're looking for:

• Feature store design and ownership in production (Feast, Tecton, or equivalent)

• Knowledge graph schema engineering — entity/edge modeling, temporal validity, governance

• Streaming pipelines for high-frequency sensor and IoT data (Kafka, Flink, Kinesis)

• Time-series and wearables data at scale — gap handling, calibration drift, device-level trust signals

• Calibration infrastructure — prediction logging, outcome joins, model promotion gates

• AWS-native stack; Python, SQL, Spark

Total Compensation: $200K–$260K (base + equity + sign-on) plus benefits.

This is a greenfield build at a company that has real data, real athletes, and real stakes. If you want to own the foundation, not maintain someone else's, this is the role.
