About the job

We are hiring multiple Wi FI Network Compatibility Testers for one of our clients at multiple levels L1/L2/L3 support, please go through below job descriptions and apply if interested.

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience is mandatory on below skills.

Scope of services include:

· AP IOP automation

· OTA/NUX Compatibility

· Connectivity

· Stability / Performance

· Roaming

L1 — Junior / Execution Engineer

L2 — Mid / Senior Engineer

L3 — Lead / Staff Engineer (DRI)

Wi-Fi knowledge

  • Knows bands (2.4 / 5 / 6 GHz), what Wi-Fi 5/6/6E/7 mean, channel widths conceptually
  • Can configure an AP through its admin UI: SSID, channel, band, security mode (WPA2-PSK / WPA3-SAE / mixed), hidden SSID
  • Understands connect/disconnect, DHCP, "no internet" vs "no association" difference
  • Runs iPerf and ping tests and records numbers correctly

Device / Android

  • Comfortable with ADB basics: adb devices, logcat, shell, getprop, install/flash a build, sideload OTA
  • Can capture a bugreport, logcat and dmesg on demand and attach them to a bug
  • Can pair/factory-reset/set up a headset through NUX reliably

Execution & tooling

  • Executes TestRail plans exactly as written; marks pass/fail/warn with evidence
  • Files clean, reproducible bugs: steps, build number, AP model + firmware, security mode, logs, repro rate
  • Basic Python/shell — can run an existing automation script, read its output, rerun a failed iteration
  • Keeps the AP lab tidy: inventory, firmware versions, cabling, labels

In this project's terms

  • Executes the Connectivity / Stability / Roaming manual suites
  • Runs the shutdown-path vectors 1–5 once the vectors are written for them
  • Runs the AP IOP automation suite and reports raw results
