Develop and review:

Mechanical layouts and equipment arrangement drawings

Piping design, isometrics, and pipe specifications

Equipment selection and prepare data sheets (valves, pumps, air-blowers, tanks, cartridge filters, heat exchangers, filters, skids, etc.)

Material selection and corrosion allowances

Mechanical calculations (pipe sizing, pipe stress, friction losses, equipment sizing, equipment static and dynamic calculations, atmospheric tank calculation, pressurized vessels calculation)

Review equipment design and calculations provided by equipment suppliers and subcontractors

Ensure mechanical designs comply with:

Owner & Contract specifications

Applicable US codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, ASTM, API, AWWA, etc.)

EPC Project Execution

Interface with process, electrical, I&C, and civil disciplines to ensure fully integrated design.

Support vendor technical evaluations, bid reviews, and equipment selection from a mechanical perspective.

Review vendor drawings and data sheets for compliance with specifications

Provide technical input during procurement, fabrication, and FAT activities

Support constructability reviews, installation sequencing, and field engineering activities

Participate in HAZOP, safety, and design reviews

Construction & Commissioning (Startup) Support
