Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 2–5 years of accounting experience to support financial reporting, general accounting, tax, audit, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on experience with accounting and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting reports.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and adjusting entries.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Ensure accounting activities comply with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Assist with federal and state tax compliance and tax-related reporting.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and schedules.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Maintain accurate general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts.
• Monitor internal controls and identify accounting/process issues.
• Work with auditors, tax professionals, and internal stakeholders as needed.
• Assist with process improvements and automation of accounting activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.

Required Qualifications
• Active CPA license or CPA certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience with financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Exposure to tax preparation/compliance and financial audits.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with an ERP/accounting system such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience in public accounting or a CPA firm.
• Big 4 or national accounting firm experience is a plus.
• Experience with SOX/internal controls.
• Experience with both U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience in technology, engineering services, consulting, or professional services.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP.
