About the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer with 2+ years of experience to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and software applications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of software testing processes, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with developers and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Understand project requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
2. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
3. Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps.
4. Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
5. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
6. Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing for web applications.
7. Ensure applications meet functional, usability, and quality requirements.
8. Maintain test documentation, test cases, and testing reports.
9. Participate in sprint planning, requirement discussions, and release activities.
10. Identify potential quality risks and communicate them to the team.
11. Contribute to improving QA processes and testing standards.

Required Skills

1. 2+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance/Testing.
2. Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and software testing methodologies.
3. Hands-on experience with manual testing.
4. Experience in writing clear and effective test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
5. Good knowledge of functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
6. Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
7. Basic understanding of SQL/database testing.
8. Familiarity with Jira or other bug/task management tools.
9. Good understanding of web applications and browser developer tools.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
11. Good communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have

1. Experience with automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.
2. Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python for test automation.
3. Experience with API automation.
4. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
5. Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or similar.
6. Experience testing mobile applications.
7. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
