*About vikingQA
*

vikingQA is an AI QA colleague for software teams. It brings three kinds of testers together on one test suite that grows with every delivery:

  • Technical testers (developers, automation engineers) contribute code, pushed to the team’s own git repository.
  • Manual testers (business analysts, functional consultants, key users) contribute by clicking. Our browser extension records what they do, and the agent turns those clicks into a test case and a script.
  • The vikingQA AI agent defines test cases, explores the app like a user, runs the tests and writes the automation.

Our stack is TypeScript end to end: a Next.js app and a Node back-end. We’re a small, early-stage team building fast.

*About the role
*

As our Full Stack Engineer Intern, you won't be shadowing — you'll be shipping. You'll work directly with the founders to scope, build, and deploy features across our platform. The work spans the full stack: from UI components in Next.js to backend logic in Python to AI agent infrastructure.
You'll own your work from idea to production. We'll give you context, autonomy, and real problems to solve.

*What you will be doing
*

  • Scoping and building features end-to-end alongside the founders
  • Writing production TypeScript (Next.js, Node)
  • Working with AI agents and LLM-based workflows as part of the core product
  • Pushing code to production — your work ships to real users
  • Contributing to architecture decisions in a fast-moving codebase

*What we are looking for
*

*Must-haves:
*

  • Proficiency in TypeScript, Node, Next.js
  • Demonstrated, high proficiency in using AI coding agents (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex,...) as part of your development workflow
  • Fluent in English
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program

*Nice-to-haves:
*

  • Experience with LLMs and agent harness frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Anthropic SDK, etc.)
  • Familiarity with browser automation (Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, browser-use)
  • Experience with Supabase, Prisma, tRPC, or similar tools
  • Comfort working in an early-stage, fast-paced environment

*What we offer
*

  • Direct mentorship from the founders — no layers, no bureaucracy
  • Real ownership over features and product decisions
  • Hands-on experience building an AI-native product from the ground up
  • Hybrid setup in Brussels
  • Paid internship (subject to university/school policy)
  • A front-row seat to what it takes to build a startup

*How to apply
*

  • Send a message or apply with:
  • Your CV or LinkedIn profile
  • A short note on what you've built and how you use AI tools in your workflow
  • Any relevant project links (GitHub, portfolio, demos)
