PR & Communications Intern

Hi, my name is Dylan.

Our company is called Dreamweaver. We’re a startup in Santa Monica.

Right now, we do virtual staging. We take photos of empty rooms and put virtual furniture into them to help real estate agents sell homes.

We’re going to do a lot more stuff down the line, but this is what puts food on the table right now.

My cofounder and I both dropped out of Berkeley and scaled our company to $300k/year in our first year without raising money.

A lot is happening, and we want more people to hear about it.

We’re hiring a PR & Communications Intern. Your whole role is helping us get as much media attention as possible.

Newspapers, podcasts, newsletters, magazines, YouTube channels, TikTok accounts, local news. Any media is good media.

If someone has an audience and a reason to talk about Dreamweaver, we want you to figure out how to get in front of them.

You’ll find interesting people, figure out what they care about, write pitches, send emails, make calls, and follow up. You’ll work directly with us to turn what’s happening at the company into stories people actually want to hear.

You should be a good writer, comfortable talking to strangers, and persistent enough to keep going when people don’t respond.

You should also have ideas. If you think there’s something we could do that would make a great story, tell us.

Experience writing for a school newspaper, running a newsletter, or getting attention for something you made would all be interesting to us.

This is a paid internship working directly with the founders.

Everybody in our company wears all white every single day. White clothes are provided if needed.

It’ll be really fun. It won’t be easy, but it’ll be fun.
