Platform / DevOps Engineer

You’ll work closely with the CTO and Head of Engineering to build and scale the infrastructure underpinning Veridraft’s enterprise platform.

This is a hands-on infrastructure and platform engineering role focused on building reliable, secure, and scalable cloud systems for enterprise software and AI-powered workflows. You’ll take ownership across AWS infrastructure, deployment architecture, developer tooling, observability, security, and platform reliability.

You’ll also work closely with the application engineering team to ensure our architecture, services, and deployment patterns are designed to scale as the platform grows.

We’re looking for someone comfortable operating in an early-stage environment with high ownership, fast iteration cycles, and direct involvement in technical decision-making.

The ideal candidate has strong AWS and infrastructure engineering experience, understands modern software development practices, and enjoys building systems that make engineering teams faster while keeping enterprise-grade reliability and security at the core.

About you

• 4–6+ years of software, infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or cloud engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience building and operating production systems on AWS
• Strong understanding of AWS services such as ECS/EKS, EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, VPC, Route 53, and CloudWatch
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or similar tools
• Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Docker and containerised production environments
• Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and infrastructure security
• Experience designing highly available and scalable cloud architectures

Nice to have

• Experience operating infrastructure for AI or LLM-powered applications
• Experience with Kubernetes or large-scale container orchestration
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or managed database infrastructure
• Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or enterprise security requirements
• Experience building multi-tenant enterprise SaaS platforms
• Experience with event-driven or distributed architectures
• Experience implementing disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies
