Role Description The Robotics Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in New Hope, PA. In this position, the engineer designs, develops, and tests custom robotic platforms and automation solutions for transportation and critical infrastructure applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and refining mechanical and software components, integrating sensors and control systems, and participating in field deployments and system evaluations. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to translate operational requirements into robust robotic solutions, analyzing performance data, and iterating designs for reliability and safety. The engineer also documents designs, prepares technical reports, and supports ongoing maintenance and improvements of deployed systems.

Qualifications

• Robotics and process automation skills, including experience with robotic systems design, integration, and control.
• Strong analytical skills for problem-solving, data interpretation, and performance optimization of robotic platforms.
• Software development skills relevant to robotics (e.g., C/C++, Python, ROS or similar frameworks).
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting technical work clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with sensors, embedded systems, and control algorithms is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in New Hope, PA, including occasional fieldwork in transportation or infrastructure environments.
