We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer who can take ownership of complex features, make sound technical decisions, and contribute across both frontend and backend development.

About the Role

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer at Nexorlio, you will work on production applications and client projects using modern JavaScript, TypeScript, backend, database, and cloud technologies.

You will contribute throughout the development lifecycle, including technical planning, architecture, implementation, code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

This role is well suited for an engineer who is comfortable working independently, solving complex technical problems, collaborating with distributed teams, and taking ownership of features from initial planning through production.

Because this is a U.S.-based remote position, applicants must currently reside in the United States and be available during U.S. business hours.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services.
• Develop modern frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and related technologies.
• Build and maintain backend APIs and services using Node.js, Python, or comparable technologies.
• Design and work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
• Participate in application architecture and technical planning.
• Translate product and business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested production code.
• Review pull requests and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Debug complex production issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Improve application performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Work with cloud platforms and production deployment environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, clients, and company leadership.
• Help establish engineering standards and development best practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers when needed.
• Communicate technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant full-stack development experience.
• Strong professional experience with React and modern frontend development.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Professional backend development experience with Node.js, Python, or comparable technologies.
• Good understanding of REST API design and backend architecture.
• Professional experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, or other relational databases.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining production web applications.
• Good understanding of application architecture, scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows and code reviews.
• Experience with automated testing and software quality practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment workflows.
• Ability to independently investigate and solve complex technical problems.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.

You should be comfortable understanding the broader product and technical context, identifying potential issues early, proposing practical solutions, and taking ownership of your work from development through production.

You should be able to balance technical quality with practical business requirements and make thoughtful engineering decisions without overcomplicating solutions.

Because Nexorlio works across different products and client projects, you should also be comfortable adapting to changing requirements, technologies, and project environments.

Compensation

The expected base salary range for this position is $125,000–$160,000 USD per year.

Actual compensation will depend on experience, technical skills, location, qualifications, and other relevant factors.

Additional compensation and benefits, where applicable, will be discussed during the hiring process.

Location & Eligibility

This is a fully remote position available to candidates currently based in the United States.

Candidates must be able to work during U.S. business hours and collaborate effectively with team members and clients across U.S. time zones.
