Role Overview

The Senior Manager, Information Technology will lead IT operations and technology initiatives for the US business, with a focus on reliability, cybersecurity, process improvement, automation, data, and responsible AI.

This hands-on leadership role partners with US business functions, global IT teams, and external providers to translate business needs into practical, secure, and scalable technology solutions. The position provides broad exposure across the business and the opportunity to grow into expanded IT leadership responsibilities.

The successful candidate will combine technical breadth, business curiosity, and a bias for action. This individual should be comfortable leading important initiatives while remaining close enough to the work to solve problems, support users, and drive implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the US IT roadmap in alignment with global standards and business priorities.
  • Partner with functional leaders to identify and deliver process improvements, automation, analytics, and responsible AI solutions.
  • Oversee reliable and secure IT operations, including infrastructure, cloud services, collaboration tools, and end-user support.
  • Support and optimize enterprise applications, including SAP, CRM, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and reporting platforms.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity, data protection, business continuity, audit, compliance, and technology controls.
  • Lead technology projects from business case through implementation, adoption, and benefit realization.
  • Manage IT vendors and service providers, including contracts, costs, performance, security, and service levels.
  • Support IT budgeting, forecasting, investment proposals, and cost and productivity initiatives.
  • Lead and develop the US IT team, fostering accountability, collaboration, customer service, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including responsibility for projects, teams, vendors, or major technology initiatives.
  • Broad experience across enterprise applications, infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, data, or IT operations.
  • Strong business partnership, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on operational leadership.
  • Experience with SAP, Microsoft 365, automation, analytics, or AI-enabled solutions is preferred.
  • Experience supporting a multi-site, manufacturing, distribution, or consumer products organization is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated interest and capability to grow into broader IT leadership responsibilities.

Additional Information

  • Position can be remote or located in Wilmington, MA
  • Minimal travel is expected.
  • Global Teams calls are expected outside of US business hours.
