DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and support automated software delivery, cloud infrastructure, and operational processes across the software development lifecycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and enterprise monitoring tools.

The role involves collaborating closely with Development, QA, and Operations teams to build scalable, reliable, and highly automated cloud and on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Manage development, testing, staging, demo, and production environments using automation and configuration management best practices.
• Configure and maintain AWS and on-premises infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automation tools.
• Develop and manage deployment pipelines, branching strategies, integrations, and release workflows.
• Support and troubleshoot build, deployment, infrastructure, and environment-related issues.
• Implement and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health using tools such as Dynatrace and Datadog.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Operations teams to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Continuously optimize DevOps tools, processes, pipelines, and infrastructure for scalability and performance.
• Provide SME-level technical guidance, documentation, knowledge sharing, and training.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call support schedule and provide escalation support when required.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience, including services such as:
• AWS CodePipeline
• CloudFormation
• Lambda
• EKS
• Other AWS DevOps and infrastructure services
• 3+ years of enterprise-level experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as:
• Harness
• TeamCity
• JFrog
• SonarQube
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Shell, PowerShell, and Python.
• Strong programming fundamentals, including Java and/or .NET and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• 5+ years of CI/CD experience, preferably with TeamCity and/or Harness.
• Experience with GitHub/TFS, microservices, APIs, and enterprise application deployments.
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Dynatrace and/or Datadog.
• 4+ years of Linux administration experience and 2–3+ years of Windows Server experience.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including DNS, routing, ingress, load balancing, traffic management, and network security rules.
• Experience working in Agile environments with tools such as JIRA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning CI/CD platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration, containerization, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience designing and supporting high-availability and highly scalable systems.
• Familiarity with SDN, VPNs, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and modern networking technologies.
• Experience with GitHub and Confluence for source control, documentation, and collaboration.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, documentation, and organizational skills.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• AWS certification is a plus.
