NorthAssay is a candidate assessment product for freelance and remote hiring. We're in open beta, it's just the founder writing code and doing GTM.

We're looking for a founding designer, part-time, to help shape the product and marketing surface as we move out of beta. This is a real, part-time role — not a placeholder — for the right person.
What you'd work on:

Product UI: refining the "Precision" design system across the assessment builder, live interview, and scoring surfaces
Marketing surfaces: landing pages, OG images, social assets, and the guides hub
Close collaboration directly with the founder — fast iteration, no committee

What we're looking for:

Strong product design fundamentals — typography, hierarchy, and restraint over decoration
Comfortable working async, part-time, and remote
Comfortable touching the codebase: our stack is Next.js, TypeScript, Clerk, Cloudflare R2, and Gemini Live — full-stack fluency is a plus, not a requirement
Bonus: interest in HR tech, hiring, or assessment products

This is a flexible, part-time engagement to start — scope and hours are open to discussion with the right person.
