Accountant – Job Description

We are looking for an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reconciliations, taxation, invoicing, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and foreign exchange transactions, with hands-on experience in accounting software such as Zoho Books.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle foreign remittances and Forex transactions.
2. Maintain accurate records of foreign exchange transactions.
3. Manage Forex card documentation and reconciliation.
4. Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
5. Prepare GST and TDS returns and ensure timely compliance.
6. Handle GST reconciliation and credit card reconciliations.
7. Prepare and process invoices and ensure timely client submissions.
8. Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
9. Manage daily accounting entries and maintain accounts receivable/payable.
10. Assist with monthly and yearly financial closing.
11. Conduct transaction audits and ensure accuracy of financial records.
12. Maintain accounting records and reports in Zoho Books.
