📍Location: Lansing, MI, Long term Contract Opportunity

One of our clients is looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Architect to own critical DW infrastructure, security, and data quality for a mission-critical enterprise environment!

What You'll Do:
✅ Own the Common Batch Framework & Common Scheduler ensuring reliable data for critical business decisions
✅ Manage DW change management infrastructure — code/DDL promotions (manual & automated)
✅ Own the Linux security model on DW ETL servers — authorize user access to groups/sudos
✅ Manage Teradata security and access
✅ Conduct data architecture reviews & audits against enterprise standards
✅ Provide escalated troubleshooting & resolution support for DW issues
✅ Evaluate and recommend new data technologies to improve performance/scalability
✅ Ensure data quality, accuracy, and effective use of enterprise data assets
✅ Manage ETL workflows and data integration across multiple systems
✅ Collaborate with external vendors/third-party providers as needed
✅ Monitor system performance and troubleshoot across data platforms
✅ Perform data profiling and implement data quality rules
✅ Execute data cleansing & standardization (built-in and custom rules)
✅ Develop and maintain disaster recovery & backup strategies
✅ Lead migration of DW processes to standardized/common frameworks
✅ Conduct elevated access reviews & user audits for compliance
✅ Identify and remediate audit findings related to data systems/security

Required Qualifications:
🔹 3+ years of Teradata experience
Preferred:
🔹 Previous government experience a plus (not required)
🔹 Experience with cloud-based BI tools
Other Desired Skills:
🔹 Experience loading data from multiple source systems
🔹 Ability to provide targeted training/technical guidance to dev teams on troubleshooting & batch support
🔹 Minimum 2 years of Linux experience
