We are looking to hire a Plant Manager at the Angstrom Fiber Englewood plant in Ohio, USA.

Job Overview This position is with our Fiber division. The Plant Manager is responsible for directing and managing all plant manufacturing operations to align with corporate expectations. This role carries overall operational responsibility across Safety, Quality, Logistics, Operations, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance, and Employee Relations. The Plant Manager leads a cross-functional plant management team, drives customer satisfaction, enforces quality standards, deploys lean manufacturing techniques, and manages the plant P&L to optimize overall performance and profitability. The position reports directly to corporate leadership.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: Direct and manage all plant manufacturing operations to drive operational excellence. Supervise cross-functional department managers, oversee plant P&L performance, maintain key customer relationships, and ensure high standards across safety, quality, cost control, on-time delivery, and employee relations

Responsibilities

• Leads the Plant Management team, directs and manages plant operations for production, engineering, quality, new product launches, supply chain, etc.
• Manages and maintains the quality system; provides the resources necessary to maintain the quality system.
• Responsible for customer satisfaction.
• Manage policy deployment in areas of lean manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction (KPI’s), employee relations and plant performance measures.
• Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.

Essential Job Duties

• Manage the operations within the plant with support from a cross functional staff of departmental managers
• Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing operation to ensure obtainable production schedules
• Monitor weekly & monthly company directed KPI’s
• Provide root cause analysis of production and quality issues
• Assure that all corporate guidelines and procedures are adhered to
• Communicate regularly with management and supervise their performance
• Maintain high level of customer interaction

Job Requirements

• Minimum 7 years’ experience with plant/department responsibilities
• 7 years’ experience compression molding, rotary vacuum forming, or similar plant environment
• Strong team building, decision making, communication and people management skills
• Extensive experience working/communicating with customers and suppliers
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred
