Software Consultant

About the Role

Nexorlio is looking for a Technical Software Consultant to represent our company during client-facing interviews and technical discussions.

This role is focused primarily on communication, technical interviews, and helping Nexorlio convert qualified opportunities into successful client projects. It is not a traditional hands-on software development position.

You will typically step in after a client opportunity has already been identified. Before each interview, you’ll review the project requirements, understand the client’s needs, and prepare relevant technical talking points. During the conversation, you’ll represent Nexorlio, answer technical questions, discuss possible solutions, and help determine whether the project is a good fit.

Responsibilities

• Represent Nexorlio in client interviews and technical discussions
• Handle recruiter screenings and technical screenings
• Participate in discovery calls and project-fit conversations
• Review client job descriptions and project requirements before meetings
• Prepare technical talking points and potential approaches
• Ask relevant questions to better understand client requirements
• Explain Nexorlio’s technical capabilities and solutions clearly
• Communicate professionally with prospective clients
• Prepare brief summaries after interviews, including requirements, concerns, and next steps
• Support the team in converting qualified opportunities into projects

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Good full-stack development knowledge
• Good experience with React, Node.js, and Python
• Good understanding of web applications, APIs, databases, and modern software development practices
• B2+ English proficiency with good spoken communication skills
• Ability to discuss technical concepts confidently with clients
• Ability to understand new project requirements quickly
• Comfortable working with startups and custom web applications
• Reliable availability for scheduled client interviews

Preferred Qualifications

The following are helpful but not required:

• Mobile application development experience
• Experience with AI-related projects or technologies
• Technical consulting experience
• Pre-sales or technical sales experience
• Previous experience participating in client-facing technical interviews

Candidates coming from a software development background who want to transition toward a more client-facing and consulting-oriented role are encouraged to apply.

Work Arrangement

This is a 100% remote position open to candidates worldwide.

Both full-time and part-time arrangements are available, and working hours are flexible. However, you must be able to attend scheduled client interviews and meetings when required.

Compensation

Compensation is flexible and will be discussed based on experience, communication ability, and overall fit.

Available structures include:

• Commission-based compensation
• Hourly compensation plus commission

Commission percentages and hourly rates will be discussed during the interview process.
