Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Need atleast 5 years Active PMP Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI).

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare IT, health informatics, and large-scale EHR implementations, particularly transitioning organizations from paper-based medical records to electronic systems. This role requires expertise in project planning, organizational change management (OCM), stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end EHR implementation, including planning, design, testing, deployment, and delivery.

Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, estimates, and deliverables.

Coordinate cross-functional IT teams, vendors, clinical staff, and stakeholders.

Oversee organizational change management, training, and implementation readiness.

Monitor project progress, resources, risks, issues, and scope changes.

Provide project status reports, metrics, and updates to senior leadership.

Ensure compliance with HHS DC IT PMO standards and project management procedures.

Required Qualifications

7–9 years of IT project management experience.

PMP certification with at least 5 years of certification experience.

Proven experience implementing EHR/EMR systems in paper-based healthcare environments.

Strong knowledge of healthcare IT, health informatics, and organizational change management.

Experience managing large-scale projects, budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and project management tools.
