SDR Tele Caller (Remote)

DBL Freight Limited is an Auckland-based freight-forwarding company providing international sea freight, air freight, customs clearance and local delivery services to New Zealand businesses.

We are looking for a confident and experienced B2B cold caller based in India to contact prospective New Zealand importers and wholesalers.

Key responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to New Zealand businesses using prospect lists provided by DBL Freight.

• Introduce DBL Freight’s services clearly and professionally.

• Identify the person responsible for freight, imports, logistics or purchasing.

• Ask suitable questions to understand the company’s current freight requirements.

• Identify prospective customers who may require sea freight, air freight, customs clearance or local delivery services.

• Generate qualified leads and arrange appointments or quotation opportunities for DBL Freight’s Managing Director.

• Send approved follow-up emails to interested prospects.

• Maintain accurate records of every call, including the contact person, outcome, freight requirements and next action.

• Follow up with interested prospects at the agreed time.

• Provide a brief daily report covering calls made, conversations completed, leads generated and follow-up actions required.

• Share common objections and market feedback to help improve the calling script and sales approach.

Working arrangement:

• Remote contractor position based in India.

• 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday

• Working hours: 2:00 am to 10:00 am IST.

• Initial paid one-month trial, with the possibility of an extension based on performance.

The successful candidate must have clear, fluent and professional spoken English, previous outbound cold-calling or appointment-setting experience, reliable internet access, a suitable computer, a quality headset and a quiet working environment.
