Job Posting: Construction Manager (MEP)

Akkodis is seeking a Construction Manager (MEP) for a Full-Time/Direct Hire job with a client supporting data center commissioning projects across the United States. Ideally looking for applicants with a solid experience as a An MEP/Commissioning Construction Manager with hands-on electrical, mechanical, and controls experience in mission-critical/data center environments, strong Procore/PM skills, and the ability to manage contractors, commissioning, MOPs, schedules, and site execution while traveling 75–100%.

Salary Range: $150,000 to $175,000 annually; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Construction Manager (MEP) job responsibilities include:

• Manage MEP construction and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, and controls systems in mission-critical/data center environments.
• Coordinate contractors, commissioning teams, and stakeholders to ensure work meets project standards, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Review and manage MOPs, work notifications, schedules, testing, and commissioning documentation.
• Represent the owner onsite, monitor construction progress, identify issues, and drive timely resolution.
• Maintain Procore/PM documentation, reports, safety compliance, and communication with onsite and remote teams.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction Management or 2+ years hands-on MEP experience.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, commissioning, and testing in mission-critical/data center environments.
• Proficiency with Procore, MS Office, MOPs, scheduling, documentation, and contractor coordination.
• Ability to travel 75–100% across the U.S., with valid driver’s license and willingness to meet OSHA/NFPA 70E and HSE requirements.
