Chefler Foods is a growing food manufacturer and distributor headquartered in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. Our retail brand, Mike’s Amazing, can be found across retail, foodservice, sports venues, entertainment properties, and major events throughout the country.

We move quickly, think creatively, and produce a lot of work across packaging, advertising, retail, events, digital, and out-of-home. We are looking for a talented Junior Graphic Designer who is ready to build their career while working on real projects that reach consumers nationwide.

Position Summary

The Junior Graphic Designer will support the development and execution of creative work across Mike’s Amazing and Chefler Foods.

This is a hands-on role for an early-career designer who has strong fundamentals, great attention to detail, and wants exposure to a wide range of creative projects. You will work closely with our creative team and senior leadership on everything from packaging and billboards to sales materials, events, digital assets, and retail marketing.

The right person is creative, organized, comfortable receiving feedback, and excited to learn in a fast-paced environment where projects can move from idea to production quickly.

Responsibilities

• Design and edit marketing materials including billboards, packaging, labels, signage, presentations, digital assets, retail materials, and other brand collateral
• Prepare accurate, production-ready files for print, packaging, digital, retail, and out-of-home applications
• Adapt existing creative across different sizes, formats, platforms, and production requirements
• Support the development of new packaging, campaigns, event materials, and brand concepts
• Work closely with the CEO, COO, CGO, creative team, and other departments on marketing and design projects
• Coordinate with printers, vendors, fabricators, and production partners to help ensure final materials are produced accurately
• Make revisions quickly and accurately based on creative direction and feedback
• Maintain organized working files, templates, brand assets, and final artwork
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Help maintain consistency across the Mike’s Amazing and Chefler Foods brands

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional, internship, freelance, or equivalent design experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design fundamentals, typography, layout, and visual judgment
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Understanding of preparing files for print and digital production
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to take direction, incorporate feedback, and collaborate with different teams
• Comfortable managing multiple assignments and changing priorities
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field preferred, but not required with a strong portfolio

Nice to Have

• Experience with After Effects or motion graphics
• Illustration skills
• Animation experience
• Packaging or consumer product design experience
• Experience preparing large-format or out-of-home advertising
