Aerospace Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Aerospace Engineer 1 for a Contract job with a client in Atlanta GA . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Aeronautical/Aerospace .

Rate Range: $34/hour to $36/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Core Responsibilities:

• Airport & Runway Surveillance: Conduct detailed performance evaluations of airports, runways, and surrounding environments to establish and update takeoff, landing, and en-route performance data.
• Operational Data & System Support: Interface with Flight Operations, IT, and Commercial departments to supply accurate engineering data, technical guidance, and operational support for fleet deployment.
• Process Improvement & Compliance: Maintain, refine, and develop engineering policies, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation to align with FAA requirements and Delta standards.
• Safety & Integrity: Actively promote and practice safety-conscious behaviors across all operational processes, reporting functions, and project workflows.
• Project Execution: Manage multiple technical tasks, data updates, and reporting deadlines systemically in a fast-paced airline environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering strongly preferred).
• Technical Skills: Ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex technical drawings, OEM data, and engineering documentation, as well as author detailed technical reports.
• Project & Task Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multi-faceted projects, meet tight operational deadlines, and think systemically.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating across diverse technical and non-technical teams.
