The Role

Upward Labs is looking for a Commercialization Director. The Commercialization Director will be responsible to develop and grow the Lab's network of enterprise partners in the Real Estate and Healthcare space and promote the Lab's portfolio of technology solutions to these partners.

The successful candidate should have extensive experience working in business development and technology sales as well as experience working in the corporate world. You must thrive on working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, be creative, innovative, and demonstrate the ability to think outside of the box. In this role you will need to be independent, highly personable and possess top-notch communication skills, as you'll be building and sustaining long-term relationships with influential leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow a robust network of large, medium and small enterprise partners in the Real Estate and Healthcare industries and manage the relationship with each one
  • Work closely with the Lab's Program Director to understand the technologies in the Lab's portfolio and implement a go-to-market strategy for each one
  • Work on strategic initiatives and develop meaningful and beneficial industry relationships

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in business development and sales of technology solutions
  • Experience either working for a large corporation or conducting business with Fortune 500 companies
  • Experience working with resellers and distributors
  • A confident, independent self-starter who can build and foster strong business relationships
  • Comfortable with a minimal amount of direction but high expectations
