We build Lucky Engine — a simulation engine purpose-built for robotics teams.

Customers bring their robot, policy, task, and environment; Lucky generates high-quality training data, evaluations, and simulated episodes that help robots learn faster while reducing reliance on expensive physical data collection.

We're looking for an exceptional game developer to help us build compelling, high-fidelity simulated worlds on top of Lucky Engine.

Responsibilities

* Design and build simulated environments, tasks, and interactive systems on top of Lucky Engine.

* Bring real game-development craft — level design, gameplay systems, polish — to robotics simulation.

* Work closely with the core engine and research teams to make simulated worlds realistic and useful for training robots.

* Own features end-to-end, from concept to shipped, polished implementation.

* Set the creative and technical bar for what "good" looks like on the team.

Qualifications

* Able to write and publish a game entirely from scratch, solo — architecture, gameplay, and polish, start to finish.

* Has either shipped their own indie/personal game, or shipped games at a major studio (Naughty Dog, Riot, Blizzard, Rockstar, EA, Valve, Epic, or similar) — ideally both.

* Deep hands-on experience with gameplay systems, level/world design, and C++.

* Obsessive about craft and polish; not satisfied with "good enough."

* Based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Bonus

* Experience with simulation, robotics, or synthetic data generation.

* A public portfolio of personal/indie games or projects.

* Experience mentoring or setting creative direction for a small team.
