About the job
Role Summary
We’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager to lead content strategy and execution across WIT’s growing marketing function.
This is an end-to-end role for someone who can set the content roadmap, identify the right stories and opportunities, and turn them into high-quality content across channels and formats. You’ll decide what we create, who it’s for, where it should live and how it can support our wider marketing and commercial goals.
We’re looking for an exceptional communicator who understands what makes B2B content perform. You’ll connect content to specific objectives, from building awareness and establishing thought leadership to generating demand, nurturing prospects and supporting sales.
Customer storytelling will be a major part of the role. You’ll work across the business to uncover the strongest customer stories, results and insights, turning them into compelling case studies and campaigns that demonstrate the impact of WIT and give our sales team powerful proof points.
You’ll be as comfortable developing a report or customer story as writing a sharp LinkedIn post, landing page or email campaign. Strong writing is essential, but so is editorial judgment: knowing what’s worth saying, finding the interesting angle and adapting an idea to the audience, channel and moment.
You’ll also play an important role in shaping WIT’s voice as our brand evolves, bringing personality, humor and consistency to how we communicate and helping develop a distinctive tone of voice and content style.
This is a highly autonomous role. We’re looking for someone who brings ideas, not just executes briefs. Someone who can take ownership of the content function, work closely with subject-matter experts across the business and continually identify new formats, channels and opportunities to grow our audience and commercial impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and continuously develop WIT’s content strategy, roadmap and editorial calendar
- Translate company, marketing and sales priorities into clear content plans and campaigns
- Identify content opportunities based on audience needs, industry trends, customer insights and relevant cultural moments
- Own customer storytelling, proactively identifying strong stories and turning customer results into case studies, campaigns, sales assets and content across multiple channels
- Create and manage content across formats, including:
- Social content
- CEO and leadership team branding and thought leadership
- Blogs and articles
- Customer stories and case studies
- Reports, guides and whitepapers
- Landing pages and website copy
- Email campaigns & Newsletters
- Video scripts and multimedia content
- Develop content across the buyer journey, from awareness and demand generation through to nurture, conversion and sales enablement
- Own and evolve WIT’s tone of voice, helping establish a distinctive and consistent brand style
- Work with internal subject-matter experts to uncover ideas, perspectives and insights and turn them into compelling content
- Partner closely with our internal creative team to develop strong creative concepts and bring content and campaigns to life
- Build and manage email content and campaigns within HubSpot
- Maximize the value of strong content by intelligently repurposing ideas and assets across channels and formats
- Track content performance and use insights to improve topics, formats, distribution and future strategy
- Identify and test new content formats, channels and opportunities for audience, engagement and pipeline growth
What We’re Looking For
- 3-5 years’ experience creating high-quality B2B and/or B2C content across multiple channels and formats
- Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills, with a strong sense of tone and storytelling
- A commercial mindset and experience using content to support demand generation, lead generation and sales
- Passion, energy, creativity and resourcefulness, with the ability to work autonomously and bring ideas to the table
- Strong editorial judgment and an understanding of what makes content perform across different audiences and channels
- Experience working with internal experts and customers to uncover and develop compelling stories
- A good eye for design and experience partnering with creative teams to bring ideas to life
- Experience with CRM/email platforms such as HubSpot and paid social is a plus
- Experience working with media partners and executing content or media partnerships is a plus
- AI-literate, using AI to work faster and smarter, while bringing the writing experience and editorial judgment to know when, where and how to use it.
- What You’ll Get
- Competitive salary, performance-based bonuses and long-term incentives
- Comprehensive company-paid medical, dental and vision benefits
- Fully remote working
- Flexible PTO with unlimited vacation days and paid holidays
- Company 401(k) plan
- Generous budget for work-related equipment, including laptop and monitor
- Access to exclusive sporting events and industry networking opportunities
- Salary range of $55,000–$70,000 USD
