Nixora is the control plane for AI-generated software.

AI coding agents are changing how software is created. Applications can now be generated in minutes, but the infrastructure required to deploy, manage, secure, govern, and maintain that software has not evolved at the same pace.

Nixora is building the infrastructure platform between AI-generated software and cloud providers.

Our vision is to become the default control plane for AI-generated software, enabling applications to be deployed, managed, governed, secured, updated, and eventually retired throughout their lifecycle.

AI generates the software. Cloud providers run the infrastructure. Nixora manages everything in between.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Technical & Infrastructure Co-Founder to join Nixora at the earliest stage and take ownership of the company's technical and infrastructure direction.

This is a true co-founder opportunity, not a conventional engineering position.

You will work directly with the founder to shape Nixora's architecture, build the core infrastructure platform, make foundational technical decisions, and help take the company from MVP to a scalable product.

You should be comfortable building from zero, working with ambiguity, and taking ownership beyond a defined job description.

What You Will Own

• Define and lead Nixora's technical architecture.
• Build and evolve the Infrastructure Control Plane.
• Design reliable infrastructure provisioning and orchestration systems.
• Develop deployment and runtime infrastructure.
• Build abstractions across AWS, GCP, Azure, and other cloud providers.
• Design systems for managing the lifecycle of AI-generated applications.
• Develop infrastructure automation and developer-facing tools.
• Build MCP, API, and SDK integrations as the product evolves.
• Establish foundations for security, reliability, observability, and scalability.
• Make pragmatic technology decisions for an early-stage startup.
• Help define the future infrastructure engineering team.
• Eventually lead technical hiring and engineering culture.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are specifically looking for someone who has previously founded or co-founded a company.

You should have:

• Prior founder or co-founder experience.
• Experience building a product or company from the ground up.
• Strong infrastructure engineering and systems knowledge.
• Experience working in an early-stage startup environment.
• A builder mentality and strong sense of ownership.
• The ability to make decisions independently and execute quickly.
• Interest in AI infrastructure, developer platforms, and cloud systems.
• A long-term mindset toward building a company, not simply joining a job.

Prior experience building an infrastructure, developer tools, cloud, SaaS, or AI company is a significant advantage.

Technical Requirements

Programming Languages

Strong experience in at least one of the following:

• Go / Golang — preferred
• Python
• Rust

TypeScript or JavaScript experience is a plus.

Infrastructure Experience

Experience with several of the following:

• AWS, GCP, Azure, or multi-cloud infrastructure.
• Docker and containerization.
• Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms.
• Terraform, Pulumi, or Infrastructure as Code.
• Distributed systems and backend architecture.
• Linux and networking fundamentals.
• APIs, SDKs, and developer tooling.
• Infrastructure automation and platform engineering.
• MCP or AI-agent integrations.

You do not need experience with every technology listed. Strong systems thinking, infrastructure expertise, and the ability to learn quickly matter more than a specific technology stack.

Compensation & Equity

This is a pure equity-based co-founder role during the pre-funding stage. No fixed salary will be provided initially.
