About the job
We are hiring for a Senior Data Analyst. This role focuses on data analysis and migration activities for a large-scale migration from GCP BigQuery to Azure Databricks.
The ideal candidate will have strong cloud data migration experience across data discovery, mapping, reconciliation, and validation.

- Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer experience
- Azure Databricks experience
- Spark / PySpark experience
- Data Migration and Data Reconciliation experience
- SQL and Data Analysis experience
- Data Profiling and Data Mapping experience
- Data Lineage and Data Governance experience
- Experience supporting large-scale cloud data migration programs
What You'll Do
- Lead data analysis, profiling, discovery, and migration assessment activities
- Perform source-to-target mapping for BigQuery datasets, pipelines, and reporting assets
- Analyze Airflow / Cloud Composer workflows and downstream dependencies
- Define migration, reconciliation, and data quality requirements
- Collaborate with Business SMEs, Architects, and Engineering teams to validate migration outcomes
- Support User Acceptance Testing, defect analysis, data validation, and migration sign-off
- Create data lineage, business rules, data dictionaries, and governance documentation
Nice to have
- Experience with Enterprise Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks
- Knowledge of data visualization tools
