If you’re passionate about backend development of innovative products, we would like to meet you! As a Mid/Senior Software Engineer, you’ll collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain high-quality ROVA Platform services in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Responsibilities

Implement the next generation of the ROVA Platform API services
Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
Produce fully functional applications while ensuring best practices and clean code
Gather detailed requirements and suggest solutions
Write tests to identify malfunctions
Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
Liaise with the Product and UX teams to plan new features
Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
Research and suggest new products, applications and protocols
Stay up-to-date with new technology trends

Requirements

Proven work experience as a senior software engineer
Worked with large scale systems before
In-depth knowledge in one of the programming languages: Java, or Kotlin
Proven experience in Typescript or ETL is a plus
Working familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker and Cloud Services
Familiarity with API design principles
Familiarity with OOP design principles
Excellent analytical skills with a positive problem-solving attitude
Ability to communicate effectively and perform in a team environment
BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field or equivalent work experience
