Software Engineer (Python, AI)

We're hiring a Software Engineer for project with LLM. Full-time, remote or hybrid in London. £65,000 to £75,000.

THE COMPANY

We are scale up startup in the wellness, fitness space with more AI and mutlti agents projects in the pipeline hence we are looking for someone to join our team.

THE ROLE

Take the product from a working prototype to a production-ready enterprise product. You'll deploy it into customer environments and turn what you learn there into a scalable platform. The focus will change as the company does.

This is a customer-facing engineering seat. You'll work directly with customer engineers, inside their security constraints, on their messy data.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong Python backend engineering. Production quality code, testing and debugging.
• Enterprise deployment experience. You've shipped software into customer-controlled environments.
• Docker and containers in practice. Deployment, configuration, persistence and networking.
• APIs and data integration. You're comfortable adapting messy customer data and trace formats.
• Strong debugging. Logs, traces, metrics and root cause analysis.
• Customer-facing confidence. You can sit with a customer's engineers and work the problem with them.
• Architectural judgement. You avoid pilot-specific hacks and improve the core product instead.
• Enterprise security in practice. Auth, secrets, TLS, proxies, restricted egress.

NICE TO HAVE

You've taken an immature B2B product into a real customer environment, found your assumptions were wrong, and improved both the deployment and the product as a result.

LLM and agent systems: traces, tool calls, evaluations, model APIs. Kubernetes and Helm. AWS, Azure or GCP. Observability tooling such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Datadog or Langfuse. ML infrastructure or evaluation systems. Early-stage B2B startup experience. Some frontend, useful but not a priority.

THE DETAILS

• Full-time and permanent. Remote, or hybrid from the London office if you'd rather be in.
• 65,000 to £75,000 starting salary
• 3+ years of experience, with the sweet spot around four or five.
• UK-based, London or UK ideal, or Poland, Portugal possible.
• Business-level English is a hard requirement, since you'll be in front of customers.
